Sheet Music Dresser

I was so inspired by Miss Mustard Seed’s Sheet Music Dresser, never thinking I would actually make one like it, until I won this very similar dresser for $1 – yes, ONE dollar (and I got a head and footboard with it for that $1).
This is what it looked like in my shed when I brought it home.
The top was bad…really bad.  Chipped veneer, stains, not to mention the paint job.
Here it is after the first coat of paint…there’s hope!
Here’s the finished dresser.

I wish I would have done it back when MMS was running her “Copy Me” challenge.  I mimicked her display on top, as well.
I truly love it now!  It’s in my room right now, but we already have a new oak dresser, so it can’t stay there forever.  It will probably be for sale eventually.  I want to enjoy it for awhile though.  It was such a pleasure to bring new life to this dresser.
Blessings,

Angie
