2011 In Review

I started this blog in July of 2011,
so it hasn’t even been a full year,
but it’s been a year’s worth in a short time!

So, I thought I’d do a little
run-down of some of the
most viewed posts & my personal favorites.

The most commented on post of the year was…
My Definition of Home

My love of old clocks made this one a personal favorite.
Time Standing Still

Turning this beast into a beauty
was one of my most rewarding projects.
Beauty in the Beast

Giving new purpose to an old seed sack
from a local business was one of my favorites also.
The person who bought it from me loves it too,
so that makes it more special.
Local History Chair

Seeing all my vintage goods used in a gorgeous
wedding reception was a real pleasure.
Vintage Wedding

Our old living room floor…gosh I miss it!
I’m just glad we left it SO much
better than we found it!
Who Knew?

Turning salvage into something stylish
always makes you feel great.
Dairy Sign

This was my ever-evolving project.
Plan “C” Cupboard

This one turned out so great,
I went on to create another one with different papers.
Both were so much fun to create.
Excess Baggage

I can’t get enough of…
Tattered Elegance

This project was very popular with you all.
My son liked the mirror and snagged it off of my wall!
Some Things Can’t Wait Until Morning

I loved writing this post and was so glad
so many of you “get” the joke also!
Rust is Like a Joke

So many of you share my love of…
A Symphony of Antique Sheet Music

This project was featured on other blogs quite a few times.
A Cozy Sweater & Candlelight

You all loved seeing trash turned into treasure!
Can It Be?

2011 Personal Favorite Post
I enjoyed turning this post into a short story
and photographing it was so much fun!
I’d love to do more story-blogging in the
coming year.
