Antique Graphics Wednesday – 1911 Lumber Mill Advertisements

My apologies that I forgot to announce the Shabby Apple $50 gift card giveaway winner at the party yesterday.  The winner is Laurel @ Chipping with Charm.  Congratulations Laurel!  Leave me a comment, and I’ll respond via email to get you your prize.
I bought a 1911 Rand McNally atlas and loved these 2 advertisements inside the front and back covers for a mill and lumber company in Chicago.  I think these would make unique framed artwork.

Blessings,

  1. Thanks so much Angie…lucky me!! LOVE this cool advertisement too 🙂

  2. Cool! My husband owns a portable sawmill, and LOVES making lumber. He’s a builder / general contractor as his main job, so lumber is definitely a part of his life. But he’s become more & more intent on sawing his own, making lumber & material. He incorporates it wherever he can. I love rough sawn wood.. It’s one “toy” I wish I’d encouraged him to buy much sooner!
Needless to say – our home & property have a bit of a mill & lumber theme going on.. I like the idea of the vintage prints!
