(BEFORE – taken before we moved in)
My husband converted the one open room into 2 separate rooms last fall, and we completed the remodel of the laundry room a few months ago. The laundry room is the larger of the 2 spaces, so this restroom is fairly small, but the guys don’t spend much time in there anyway. He tore out all of the old flooring, stained ceiling tiles and wallboard. He installed the same corrugated metal on the ceiling as we used in the laundry room, did all the plumbing where the sink, toilet and shower would be moved, put new wallboard on the walls, and installed recessed lights.
I found this old sink at an antique store last fall and it fit perfectly on the antique desk we used for the vanity.
Here’s the before and after side by side. I’m so proud of my husband. He does an amazing job of converting outdated and ugly rooms into rooms I love to be in…even bathrooms. He buys as many clearance-priced items as possible to make these projects more affordable as well.
