A Sneak Peek and an Antique French Business Document

Based on the lack of projects I’ve shared with you this week, you might think I’ve been very unproductive, but I’ve actually been toiling away on a project that I hope to show you early next week.  I have just a few details to finish, and some cleaning up to do, but I’ll give you a sneak peek today.   I know I’m being really vague, but I’m sure some of you may be able to figure out what my {Read More}

Love Potion & Ladies’ Boots – 2 Reader Featured Projects

It makes my day when I hear from you all, that you are using the graphics I post on your own projects, and today, I’d like to brag on two readers that have shared their projects with me.  Jeanette @ Creating a Life used the antique apothecary labels I shared here, to create her own “Love Potion” labels for Valentine’s Day.  A Life More Palletable used an advertisement for Ladies’ Boots that I shared here, and made a wonderful sign with {Read More}

Royalty Free Antique Advertisement – Borden’s Milk

This image for Borden’s Evaporated Milk is from an antique advertisement in a 1910 The Housekeeper magazine.  I think it would make a wonderful transfer onto wood or flour sack towels (be sure to reverse the image for transfer projects).  It is a PNG image, so it can be used digitally, and layered over other backgrounds. This is the complete, original advertisement the image came from. Here it is, reversed for transfer projects. This image was sent to me by {Read More}

Paris Typography Graphics – French Transfer Images

Here are 3 different typography images of the word, “Paris” taken from several different 1920’s French invoices.  My favorite is the first one, which was handwritten.  These are all PNG images, so they can be used digitally, and I’ve included the reverse images so you can use them for transfer projects. They would look really nice inside the wreath graphic I shared here. MORE FRENCH TYPOGRAPHY GRAPHICS ARE AVAILABLE HERE. Have you linked up at the Vintage Inspiration Party?  I’ve {Read More}

Antique French Graphics

I usually only share antique graphics once a week, but I’m working on a few bigger projects, and trying to tackle some disorganized and messy areas around my house, so rather than sharing a project with you, I thought I’d share some French graphics you can use on your own projects. I have a wonderful antique invoice from the early 1920’s.  It was from a tannery that made saddles and belts.  I love the typography and have included a black {Read More}

God Be With You – Antique Hymn Book Page

In addition to a wonderful old hymn, I also wanted to share the cover of the hymn book it came from.  I think it’s beautiful in its aged appearance.  I hope you all have a blessed Sunday and enjoy the freedom we have to worship God in our country. Blessings,Angie View Verse of the Day Due to unethical websites stealing content, I can no longer provide a full RSS feed. I work too hard to produce original and inspiring content {Read More}

More Image Transfers & Decoupage with Antique Graphics

I find that I accomplish a lot more, when I work on a bunch of similar projects at the same time, so if I have white paint out for 1 project, I’ll work on 3 others at the same time.  If I have my Silhouette out, I’ll plan several projects and cut the vinyl all at once. This week, a customer asked me to do a bulk order of my “It It Well With My Soul” Wall Hooks, so while {Read More}

Barn Wood & Bread Tins Wall Bins

Being snowed in for the last several days has given me lots of time to be productive and I’ve brought home bunches of “stuff” from auctions & thrift stores recently, including a plank of antique barn wood and a bunch of antique bread pans.  I love turning bread pans into wall bins, and the barn wood was the perfect backing to connect them to. It is classic barn red, and the wood is wonderfully aged. I  love the “folded” edges {Read More}

Repurposed Book Page Canvas Hymn Art

Last week, a customer asked me to create a canvas art with book pages and an antique map, and since I had all the supplies out, I decided to add book pages to several other canvases at the same time.  I wanted to do something different than a map on the other ones, and decided to try painting words over the book pages. “It Is Well With My Soul” is one of my favorite hymns, so I selected a font {Read More}
