Printable Vintage Seed Packet Banner

After my I-have-no-inspiration-and-I’m-so-sick-of-this-weather whine last week, I heard from a lot of you, that the gloomy, extended-winter weather so much of the country has been experiencing, is affecting you as well.  The calendar may say it’s spring, but I need it to look and feel like spring to get me out of this funk.  Since I can’t control the weather, I decided to work on a project that will bring some spring indoors instead. Some time ago, I shared 12 printable {Read More}

Enamelware, Antique Suitcases & Some New Projects

My husband and I went to visit our 2 college sons last weekend, and brought our teenage son back home who had been visiting them.  I love road trips, because it’s a good opportunity to search for new items to stock my shop with.  Unfortunately, the route we take on this 8 hour drive doesn’t take us by many good shops, but I did manage to bring a few things home.   Before I show them to you though, I {Read More}

Artist Palette Clip Art and Cabinet Card- Antique Graphics Wednesday

{CLICK ON IMAGES TO ENLARGE} This is a wonderful PNG image of an artist’s painting palette with the word, “ART” on it. It came from this antique cabinet card that had a portrait on the front, and the back side had this branding image from the photography studio that took the portrait. I removed all the background and isolated just the image of the palette.  I think  it would make a wonderful sign for a craft room, or used on {Read More}

Knick of Time Tuesday #130 – Vintage Inspiration Party

Welcome to Knick of Time Tuesday! I’ve always started the party in the evening, but I thought I’d test a different time of the day, to see if that affects how many links are shared, so it’s subject to change, but for the time being, it will be starting in the afternoon. Remember, you can share anything that’s old, or looks old, or you made from parts of something old, or something you are selling that is old.  The only {Read More}

Nothing, Nada, Zip

I usually try to share a new project with you on Mondays, but I’ve got nothing today.  My youngest son spent a week with my two older sons at their college in Arkansas, so my husband and I went to pick him up and visit with visit with them.  If I was a really organized and structured blogger, I would have gotten a project ready ahead of time to share with you today, but by the time I finished making {Read More}

Birds and Floral – Vintage Clip Art Images

Today, I have several very pretty Victorian style die cut images for you.  I believe these would have been used in autograph albums, or scrapbooks.  I think they would be very pretty on a handmade card, or used for collages. {CLICK ON IMAGES TO ENLARGE} I  removed the writing on the little letters on these 2 images, so you can add your own note, or leave it blank. Enjoy! Have you used one of my antique images on a project {Read More}

Book Page Canvas Wall Art

This week I’ve been focusing on expanding my “line”of book page canvas wall art signs.  It’s a stretch to call it a “line”, as I have two styles available right now, but I will be adding more next week, and plan to create additional styles, and may offer some printable versions as well. My newest one is this Amazing Grace canvas sign.  I used pages from a very old Bible, which are extremely fragile to work with, but their color {Read More}
