Vintage Inspiration Party #166 – Even the Grinch Would Be Inspired!

Welcome to the Vintage Inspiration Party!  We can officially say, “Merry Christmas” now, can’t we?!!

Christmas is coming…and a junk style Christmas it will be!  I’m so glad you are here to join in the fun.

Vintage Home Decor Party Features

This morning, I wrapped up my 12 Days of Christmas event, but the season is young, so I’m looking forward to lots of Christmas inspiration all month long.  If you missed any of the 12 days, you’ll find them all here.

Inexpensive Christmas Gifts, Crafts and Projects

Get yourself a hot cocoa and be ready to be swept away.

At the Vintage Inspiration Party, your links will show up on 4 different blogs!

Today’s features were selected by Marianne @ Songbird.

This is the place to share anything old, treasured, passed-down or tattered, but you can also share projects that were made to look old, including repurposed and upcycled creations.

vin-tage (adj.) 1.) used to describe something that is not new but that is valued because of its good condition, attractive design, etc. 2.) used to describe something that has the best qualities or characteristics of the things made or done by a particular person, organization, etc.

These ornaments from Sarah from Sadie Seasonsgoods are so cute and they would make a lovely gift for a (wannabee) world traveler.

I just can’t get enough of all the variations of repurposed wood Christmas trees. This version by Joan from Scavenger Chic is very beautiful too.

This chalk board globe looks great decked out for the Christmas season, but I am sure it will look wonderful all year round. It is a lovely project by Twelve O Eight. And I love the version from Elaine from Hearts Rocks in my Pocket too!

Another wood Christmas tree by Julie from Restyle Relove. She reinvented last years project into this beauty of a Farmhouse wooden tree.

Christmas ornaments that not only look good, but probably smell divine too: Cinnamon Star ornaments by Artistic Endeavors 101

I have no idea what a laundry stumper is, all I know is that this angel is super cute. Wonderful ‘see through it’ vision by Organized Clutter.

repurposed Christmas decor

These mixed media ornaments by Duct Tape and Denim are simply gorgeous.

What is Christmas decor without at least one pretty wreath. And this junk wreath by Blue Willow House is just too much fun.

Repurposing at its best: mini molds turned Christmas bells, simply too cute. Go see it at My Thrift Store Addiction.

Romantic, handmade and shabby chic. This collection of white Christmas decorations by Dreams Factory is dreamy and beautiful.

  5. Oh my goodness, I cannot get enough of those wood Christmas trees! What clever women who came up with those ideas. Thank you for posting them. And thank you for hosting!

  6. Love the sliver bells and the wood Christmas trees. Great ideas. A laundry stumper would have had a long handle on it like a broom stick and you would have used it to agitate your laundry in a washtub. I like it as an angel tough. Really cute idea.

  7. Such wonderful links! Thank you so much for hosting.

  8. Thanks so much for hosting Angie & for featuring my Chalkboard Globe too!!

    xoxo, Tanya
