Over the summer, I brought home several boxes filled with old bottles. There were old medicine bottles, perfume bottles, alcohol bottles, and soda bottles – just about any kind of bottle you can imagine. I sold some of them in my shop, but hadn’t decided what to do with the rest, so I put them back in the boxes, and promptly forgot about them, until I was decluttering this week and stumbled across them.
I’ve also have a stash of old apothecary labels that I shared as a printable (here) several years ago, and I discovered them hiding in a drawer filled with junk. Finding the old bottles and old labels on the same day, was a sure sign that they belonged together, so my decluttering efforts came to a halt, because the mess could wait until I was done playing.

A little glue and 15 minutes later, and I had made a bunch of “antique” apothecary bottles! I totally feel like it was time well spent, because if I had just stuck with the decluttering, the bottles and labels would have gotten stashed away, and who knows how long it would have been before I would have found them again.

It does pay to clean up our messy spaces sometimes! Those are great bottles and labels and yes, they did belong together. Thank you for sharing!

I’ve got a stash of old bottles that I found in an old garbage ditch next to my house almost 40 years ago. I am so glad to have these labels to turn them into some eye-catchers ! Thanks so much for sharing !!
