  3. I love enamelware and wish I had more! My favorite is the white with red rim! Thanks for including my Christmas centerpiece, Angie! Happy weekend!

I love enamelware and my fav is white with cobalt blue rim which is hard to find but i have maybe 20 pieces.

  6. I love all the different ways that enamelware is used to decorate with. I love the tiered stand, the birdfeeder, and the pitchers with the Christmas greenery. It’s all so pretty. I remember my mother having a set on pots that were the white enamel with red rims.

Your enamelware & soap display has given me a big smile. One year, at Christmas, my mom gifted me with an enamelware basin with lots of ‘character’ and vintage bars of Ivory and P&G Soap. She also gave me a poem she learned as a young girl while living on a farm in Minnesota, it is: When you’re young and full of hope, wash your face with Ivory Soap. But when you’re old and you can’t see, wash your face with P&G. I’ve loved her poem ever since and I hope you all enjoy it too!

    • That sounds like my kind of gift, Jan! I have vintage bars of soap on display in my laundry room, right below my enamelware wash basin, and I absolutely love them!

  8. I never imagined there were so many decorative and functional ways to use enamelware…thank you for bringing sooooo many of these clever ideas together for us in one place, Angie…greatly appreciated! I am most definitely going to have to try some of these! I really LOVE your Farmhouse Friday series…so far, you seem to be hitting upon all of my greatest loves…I can hardly wait for next week’s installment with vintage signs!!! Thank you so very much for this amazing series, Angie! 🙂

  9. Enamelware is one of my favorite things. I have so many pieces, should really count how many some day. It is almost everywhere in my house. I use it to decorate, hold candles, hold plants, organize stuff. Love it! My mom always keeps her eyes open for pieces for me too. I like the big dishpan centerpiece and someday I might be brave enough to make a tiered stand. Thanks for sharing photos. It is good to “meet” others who have the same interests as I do.

  10. I don’t have any enamel ware at all. Maybe I should be on the lookout! Thanks for showing my barn wood canning jar holder… very easy, anyone can make one of those!

  11. Great enamelware inspiration! I have many pieces of enamel and now have more ways to use them. Thanks!

  12. PetersenLinda says

Well now I have another collection to start! Thanks for the inspiration~~~the pieces are wonderful.

  13. Angie
I adore enamel pieces. They remind me so much of happy times as a child, drinking lime cordial out of a chipped enamel cup.
In Australia it is SUPER expensive – yep, even the chipped stuff – as we only have 30 million people, who now sell to the online market. A chipped dinner plate will cost you $25+.
So I hoard my few pieces and cherish them.
Thanks for another cool post with the added bonus of a trip down memory lane 🙂

  14. What a great topic, Angie. When you launched the farmhouse link party series, I feared the contents of my coastal garden suite wouldn’t provide much opportunity to participate. But your weekly themes have been creative and inclusive. And your own posts fill me with inspiration. Thanks for hosing this great series!
