Several years ago, I brought home an entire trailer full of old windows.  I sold many of them and repurposed the rest, like this antique window turned into dairy sign.

Here’s another one that I turned into a flag display on our barn.

I’ve also made several repurposed window chalkboards.

  5. What a fantastic post, Angie–with so many of your great farmhouse DIYs all in one place. You’ve certainly had a prolific year. Thanks so much for linking up your posts with us at Vintage Charm, and Happy New Year!!

  6. I love these ideas! I have got to go see your Etsy projects now. Thanks for sharing the DIY farmhouse decor ideas at the #HomeMattersParty this week. Pinned!

  7. So creative! These items remind me of visiting family members on a couple of farms many years ago (as a child). People on farms used whatever they had on hand — like an old pan or an old bucket. They didn’t have the option of running out to Home Goods or World Market to buy things for their kitchens or their homes. It makes me think of the adage: “necessity is the mother of invention.” Thanks for sharing.

  8. You are so creative!! I love the repurposed windows. I am also going to make sure I find some enamelware bowls so I can recreate the stand. Love it!

I just bought one leg of a sewing machine. Now I know what to do with it!
Also love your old newsprint wallpaper.
