Evergreen & Antiques Free Christmas Decorating

Last year I bought a beautiful evergreen garland to hang in our entryway. I draped it around the doorway between the entryway and kitchen, and walking under it reminded me of walking through the field of pine trees my dad planted at my childhood home.  The garland had that amazing freshcut evergreen aroma; it looked beautiful and I absolutely loved it … … for about two days.

Antique Bird Prints

This set of beautiful bird prints both came from a 1920’s bird book, and show birds resting on evergreen branches.  They are perfect for framed art,  and would make lovely greeting cards as well.  I’ve included two printables using one of the bird images, layered over 2 antique postcard images that I previously shared.. {CLICK ON IMAGES TO VIEW AND PRINT FULL SIZE} This bird is called a Coal Titmouse.

Autumn Morning on a Farm Country Road

The last several days, it’s been very foggy in the morning, but burns off late morning.  A few days ago, I was getting in my car, and noticed how beautiful it looked, with the fall colors, and had to grab my camera to capture it.   The view down our gravel road was ghostly beautiful, and  my oldest son said it looked like the Headless Horseman should come galloping down it.
