This wonderful image of a ladies’ boot came from a 1905
Ladies Home Journal magazine. The background has been removed,
so this image can be layered over other images using programs like
Photoshop and Gimp.
Here is the original advertisement. Not only are antique advertisements
a fascinating glimpse of the past, but I find it interesting to see how long
some magazines have managed to survive and stayed strong in the business,
as Ladies Home Journal has.
The magazines these images came from were generously sent to me by
Audrey @ Audrey @ Timeless Treasures.
Blessings,

Angie

Oh, Angie, thank you for sharing both the original ad and the boot itself! They’re beautiful!
Here’s a Wiki article about the manufacturer, which I realize will be of interest only to me.; )
