Chalkboard Christmas Cards & Tags {printables}

I’ve been in chalkboard mode for the last few weeks,
and decided to create some paper versions of them,
in the form of Christmas cards and gift tags.
I haven’t perfected these yet, but I do have 2 cards
and a set of gift tags ready as printables.  The PDF file
link is available below.  For the tags,
I punched a hole in the top and added a
white, adhesive reinforcement label.
It looks very retro with that added.
{click here for the full size printable PDF}

The cards measure about 3-5/8″ x 5″ (notecard size)
and fit in 5-1/4″ x 4″ envelopes.
The envelopes are available at Walmart HERE.
I’m working to create these as greeting card size images,
but every time I try to print it as a card through Walmart,
the scaling comes back wrong,
so I’ll keep tweaking.
I’ll let you all know if I get the kinks worked out.

You can print the pages at home or have them printed at an
office supply store,
(on cardstock – glossy or matte finish),
then use a paper cutter to cut them out.

I used double-sided tape to attach our family photo,
but you could also use black photo corners.

Here are a few more images that I didn’t create a PDF for,
and aren’t sized for cards, but you could easily size them
however you want and use them for cards or gift tags.
I did a lot of tinkering around, so these were some
of my experiments.  Just right click, save and play with them.

This one has the interior removed.  If you use a program,
like Photoshop or Gimp, you can insert your
family photo in the open space.  If not, the open
space will appear as white when you work with it.

Here are my two base chalkboard images that I used
to create all the rest of the designs.

I hope you find these images fun and useful
for the Christmas season.
Blessings,
