I love all antique graphics, but some of my favorites to share with you are images of antique clocks and watches. With the passage of time from 2012, to 2013, it seemed like a great time to share this great image from a 1908 magazine called, “The American Woman”. I shared the cover of this magazine with you HERE.

This is the full page the advertisement was on. Not only are the ads fascinating, and somewhat amusing in their claims, but reading the smaller articles in the “Men, Women & Events” column is a really interesting glimpse back in time.
Here is just the pocket watch, with the background removed.
This magazine page was graciously sent to me by Audrey @ Timeless Treasures.
Thanks so much, Audrey!

Angie

Due to unethical websites stealing content, I can no longer provide a full RSS feed. I work too hard to produce original and inspiring content to have it stolen by others. Thank you for your understanding – I appreciate each one of you that take time out of your day to visit Knick of Time!!
I don’t know what it is about clock faces, but I just love them. I have been blogging 1 year this month and I remember your blog was one of my first to follow because of the clock faces. I just did our new year mantel in clock faces and am always looking for them when I am shopping.
Happy New Year
Love this one too! I giggle every time I think about my pine cone graphic that I couldn’t remember where it came from! Thanks for this one and have a good week!
Hi Angie and Happy New Year! I love those oldie graphics; would look gorgeous on white painted boxes; got my wheels turning with ideas. Looking forward to all your inspirational projects this year. Thanks for the party; I love being here. Patty
I have some things like this and I love to read them. Numbering our days is my mom’s favorite scripture. Happy New Year
Thank you Angie & Audrey!! Love old clocks and clock faces…great to start 2013!
Thanks Pendra for the comment … all the credit goes to Angie. I tell you, she has lots of old magazines to go through and is doing a fabulous job making them into usable graphics to share. I think there was eight pounds of magazines that I sent to her and I am so happy that she agreed to take them.
Blessings.

Hi Angie … you are amazing at what you “see” in these time-worn magazine pages. So happy that you agreeded to accept them and I, for one, really appreciate all the work you do to save and bring the blogging world some of the graphics.
Blessings, my friend.
Happy 2013.
