A few months ago, I showed you some backdrops I painted and sold in my shop. After those sold, I made a few more…and those sold. A photographer bought a few of them for photo backdrops and someone else purchased a few to use at a baby shower. I love knowing how things I made will be used by others.
Soft Cottage Colors for DIY Rustic Backdrops

Originally, I was just selling mint green ones, so I decided to expand my line of them to include 6 soft colors.
In addition to the mint green, I’m also made them in these colors:
Baby’s Breath White
Denim Blue
Autumn Yellow
Fresh Cream White
Soft Flannel Gray

I cut mine 24″ wide x 13-3/4″ tall, so they are a great size to use on a shelf or mantel, but you could also make them larger.
If you’d like to make them yourself, they are made of a rustic wood siding wood siding panel that I purchased at Lowes, but I would imagine other home improvement centers sell something similar to it.
These panels are pretty large, so you can get several backdrops out of one panel.
I stain them before painting, so when I distress them it looks like naturally distressed old wood.
Blessings,
Blessings,

Here’s something I think you’ll love!

I can see why a photographer would want to use them for props. They look great. I love all the colors- xo Diana
I like these.
I need something like this for my photos for my etsy!
You’re so smart. These backdrops make your items pop!

They are all great. So I guess there is no wonder why many photographers love them. But I especially love the baby’s breath white. It seems to complement with any colours.
