New in the Shop

I’ve learned to harden my heart toward the things I bring home to sell in my shop, but some things test my resolve.  Everything I’m showing you today falls in that category! I told you that I went to a vintage market with my cousins last weekend.  I don’t usually go to many of these type of markets, because the prices are usually to high for a reseller to find much that allows for a profit margin.   It means {Read More}

Vintage Blue Labels Printables

I love old labels and especially love the ones I have to share with you today. There are 8 different labels and each has a unique design.  The original labels are pretty small, so it limits the kinds of projects to use them on, but using these high resolution images means you can enlarge them to suit your purposes. Let me know if you come up with a fun way to use these – Enjoy! You’ll find many more Free {Read More}

Take the Scenic Route – Antique Automobile Window Sign

I love it when I stumble across something unique at a yard sale or flea market, that I know I’m unlikely to come across again.  A few weeks ago, I got an antique car windshield at a yard sale and that was definitely the first time I’d ever found one of those. The man selling it had several of them, but the rest had broken pieces off the glass, so I only purchased this one. I debated a few different {Read More}

Antique Graphics – 1930’s SALE & SOLD Tags

I normally share antique graphics on Wednesday, but I’m working on a project using these wonderful hang tags and wanted to share the originals with you before I show you the project next week. For those of you who sell at shows or have booths, these would make really charming, vintage-style tags for your products.  The line down the center was a cut line, intended to place over a hanger.   When I share my project with you next week, {Read More}

221B Baker Street Sign

Since my older two sons have left for college, my youngest son got to take over one of their bedrooms.   My middle son wasn’t interested in painting or doing anything to the room when he was in it, but my youngest son did want to do some decorating. He’s a huge fan of Sherlock Holmes books, so we batted around some ideas to decorate around that theme, but buying Victorian-era furniture, wallpaper and other “props” isn’t in my price {Read More}

Harvest Party…It All Started with Root Beer

It looks like I’m having a Harvest Party, but I’m not… and it’s all because of some root beer bottles. A few weeks ago, my daughter had a few friends over for a movie night.  My husband and I had been out of town for a few days, and when we came home, the table was filled with junk food and there was a counter full of empty glass soda bottles.  She knows I love bottles, so they didn’t throw {Read More}
