This week I’ve been focusing on expanding my “line”of book page canvas wall art signs. It’s a stretch to call it a “line”, as I have two styles available right now, but I will be adding more next week, and plan to create additional styles, and may offer some printable versions as well.
My newest one is this Amazing Grace canvas sign. I used pages from a very old Bible, which are extremely fragile to work with, but their color tone is absolutely gorgeous.
These are a bit time-consuming to make, but making just one of something really seems to take longer than making multiples. The pages are layered, which means waiting for each layer to dry before adding the next one. The process will be more streamlined as I increase my “line”, as while a layer is drying on one canvas, I can work on another layer on another canvas, and so on.
I use my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the words on Black Permanent Adhesive Vinyl.
I have lots of ideas for other styles I’d like to offer are floating around in my head. I’ll keep you posted as I develop them, and they become available.
And here’s how to do a reverse canvas with the Farmers Market transfer and chalk paste instead of paint. I guarantee you, this process is much faster! No weeding at all.
