United States Flags Printable

July 4th is just a few weeks away, so here’s a wonderful image showing several different United States flags, that could be used for some patriotic decor.  If you know someone in the Navy, it includes some nice Naval flags that would look great on a greeting card.  It came from the same set of 1903 encyclopedias, as the other images I’ve been sharing the last few weeks. {CLICK ON IMAGE TO ENLARGE} If you missed the other printables from {Read More}

Nature Garden Flowers Image – Ferns

Here’s a lovely nature image,showing various types of ferns.  It would make a nice framed image to use in a grouping with the other flower and plant images I’ve shared.  Later this evening, I’ll be sharing a patriotic flag image. {CLICK ON IMAGE TO ENLARGE} If you missed the other printables from these encyclopedias, click these images to get the full-size versions:        Have you used one of my antique images on a project you created,?  If so, please share! {Read More}

Buy 1 – Get 1 Free Sale!

I’ve been restraining myself from attending auctions, and have only gone to a few yard sales this season, because my workshop is overflowing with lots of salvage, waiting to be turned into something new.  My storage area for things I’ve already made is also very limited, so to make room for new items, I’ve decided to have a Buy 1/Get 1 FREE sale on the following items.  Just select any one of the items below, plus another item from my {Read More}

Vintage Beach Home Style

My home is completely decorated in mix of vintage, and farmhouse style – with a touch of industrial.  I often wish I had several homes – just so I could decorate them in totally different styles that I also love.  I don’t live anywhere near a beach, and have only been near an ocean a few times in my life, so this type of decorating is totally foreign to me, but I think it’s really beautifully relaxed looking. I’ve invited {Read More}

Guest Cottage Room Reveal {in an Old Farmhouse Shed}

It’s finally finished!  We started this project in July of last year, and I was overly optimistic, and thought my new guest cottage room / photo studio would be done by the end of September.  Ha!  Well, at least it was completed before the end of September this year.  It was worth the wait though, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. To give you an idea of the work that went into this room, you have to {Read More}

Nature Garden Flowers Printables – American Orchids

Since garden season is in full “bloom”, I have another flowers nature image today, that would make a nice framed image to use in a grouping with the other flower images I’ve been sharing the last few weeks.  All of them are from a set of 1903 encyclopedias.  These would make pretty greeting cards, or covers for garden journals, as well. {CLICK HERE FOR FULL SIZE PRINTABLE} If you missed the other printables from these encyclopedias, click these images to get {Read More}

Knick of Time Tuesday #140 – Vintage Decor Inspiration Party

Welcome to Knick of Time Tuesday! It’s only Monday, and I’m already exhausted, but my guest room remodel is done, and I photographed it today.  I still need to go through and edit the photos, and I’ll be sharing the room soon.  I actually slept in it last night.  I felt it was my duty to make sure my mom would be comfortable in there during her visit…or at least that’s the reason I gave my husband.  He asked if {Read More}

Lighting in the Guest Room

It’s crunch time.  My mom arrives on Tuesday morning, so my husband and I are cramming to finish up the guest room, as well as get the house cleaned, which has desperately needed it. One of the final projects he has worked on, was getting lighting installed.  I was in Lowes a few days ago, and found the most awesome barn-style wall light.  They sell a larger one as well, but this one was perfect to use as a bedside {Read More}
