This easy Farmhouse Style Milk Bottle pays tribute to the humble bovine!
I love cows. Not just because I love beef or because I love milk, but seriously …
They are just cute. 🙂
I mean, seriously, how can you not love a face like this!
Several months ago, I bought an antique milk bottle label and finally got around to making a farmhouse style milk bottle with the image on it.
It’s so easy and is a great way to repurpose empty bottles.

How to turn Starbucks bottles into Farmhouse Style Milk Bottles:
Directions:
1. Remove the labels from the bottles. Use the adhesive remover to get the residue left from the labels off the bottles. You’ll also need to use a Magic Eraser to remove the printed date off the bottle. Don’t skip this step, because the ink will run if you spray paint over it, and it will ruin the paint.
2. Clean the empty bottle with soapy water and dry it.
3. Flip bottle upside down and spray paint it. Let dry for several hours.
4. Print the Bess milk label (found HERE) as a wallet size image with a laser printer. This image is free to email subscribers only! Subscribe HERE.
5. Cut out the printable label.
6. Use a small paint brush to apply glue or decoupage medium on the back of the image and carefully smooth it in place on the bottle.

Like this milk bottle,it is so cute. My parents had cows and we named each and every one. It was our job to feed them, that was the good old days.
What I want to know, Marlene, is did you have a cow named Bess? 🙂
