New Farmhouse Milk Bottles

I’ve got a new style of farmhouse milk bottles in my shop to show you today! Ever since I made my first batch of farmhouse milk bottles, I’ve been trying to solve a problem with them. The problem with the original ones was you couldn’t put water in them or the painted interior would pull away from the glass.  You could only put dried or faux flowers inside them. I’ve been looking for a solution to solve that problem, and I’m happy {Read More}

Old Milk Bottle Shape Stencils

In addition to working on several new stencil designs, I’ve also been designing some inexpensive “add-ons”.  Add-ons are smaller stencils that will coordinate with the larger stencils in my line, but can be used by themselves also. I’m trying to improve my video-making skills, so I’d love to hear your feedback as I learn! Below are the two images I used on the jars in the video plus another black {Read More}

Okay, it might be a bit of a stretch, but if you have a good imagination, and some white paint, it could pass for a milk bottle right? Actually, that doesn’t really have anything much to do with my post today, but just play along, okay?

Farm Store Painted Sign

I’ve had paint “fever” lately.  Some weeks I want to do nothing but repurpose old book pages, some weeks I just want to fuss around with old metal junk, and other weeks, I want to paint everything in sight.  Fortunately, I have a fairly good stock of salvaged wood to work with, so I sorted through my supply, and spotted a side rail from an old bed.  That would do nicely for a painted sign. I had just received a {Read More}
