This weekend was a total whirlwind. Actually, the entire week was!
My daughter’s best friend is getting married in a few weeks, so today we hosted a bridal shower at our house for a small group of her friends.
I spent the early part of last week doing a house purge to get all my in-progress projects hidden away, which was a huge job, but they’ve been best friends since they were in kindergarten, so I was more than happy to do it.
My daughter bought all of the food and decorations, and other than helping to set everything up, my part was done, so I made the last- minute decision to go out of town to visit my middle son.
He normally comes home for summer, but he got an internship this year, and can’t come home. My oldest son was going to see his girlfriend graduate from college, and he let me ride along with him.
I didn’t take a single photo all weekend. Not one.
I just enjoyed hanging out with my son, and got to meet my other son’s girlfriend’s family.
We drove most of the night to get back home in time for the bridal shower today, so I’m totally exhausted, but it was worth it.
So, the long story short is I haven’t finished a single project, and don’t have a single new thing to share with you.
First thing tomorrow I need to get back to work and start tackling projects, but for now I’m just going to put my feet up, kick back and relax, and watch a movie.
My oldest son and daughter both graduated from college last week, I got to see all 4 of my kids, and I have a beautiful pot of miniature roses sitting on my kitchen table – I’d call that the perfect Mother’s Day!
I hope your day was equally blessed!
I especially want to wish my mom a Happy Mother’s Day. I love you mom!
Vaya con Dios,

Sounds like a perfect weekend, Angie! I just relaxed and enjoyed, too!
Sounds like a wonderful time and I’m glad you enjoyed yourself! Happy Mother’s Day Angie!
