On the Workbench and In the Shop

As usual, it’s been a busy week, with lots of projects occupying my kitchen table.  I’m SO ready for spring, so I can get back out to work in my workshop, so our kitchen table and counters aren’t always covered with my projects, but since it isn’t yet February, I guess my table will be a mess for awhile longer.

My husband and I have been working on a LOT of new tiered stands to list in the shop, and this is one of my favorites.

We used an antique Swan’s Down Cake Pan for the lower tier and an antique bundt pan for the upper tier.   Sorry, it has SOLD.

This one is a big one, and has lots of storage space.  It was made from 3 enamelware mixing bowls.  I love the cheerful yellow color.  It’s available here.

I’m not positive, but I believe these 2 pieces were candy dishes.  I found the pair in a thrift store last week.

The detail on them is gorgeous.   They were made by the Wilcox Silver Plate Company, which was a division of the International Silver company.  They are available here.

I’m not sure what kind of food mold this was, because it isn’t very large, but it is just beautiful.  It has really pretty patina and a rope shape border.  Sorry, it has SOLD.

I’ve brought home a bunch of antique books in the last week, so I’ve been putting together more book stacks for the shop.  This set is listed here.
