Printable Vintage Shipping Tag & a Freebie for You!

A few weeks ago when I was shopping in an antique store, I found a bag full of unused, old stock vintage shipping tags.  You’ll probably recognize the red checkerboard pattern on them, as being from the Purina company, and it was that design that made me snatch them up!

Because the Purina company is still in existence (and I don’t want to get sued), I’ve added my watermark so it can’t be printed, but I wanted you to see how cute it is!

So, why did I show you a tag you can’t print?

Well, for two reasons!

First I’ve altered the shipping tag  so that it you can print it, just without the Purina name on it.

I altered it even more and removed all the text, because I think this would make a wonderful gift tag for Christmas.

The other reason is because is because I’d like to share the rest of the tags I have with you all! 🙂

  1. Oh what wonderful Christmas tags those would make on packages wrapped with brown kraft paper! I might just have to do that this year! Thanks so much for sharing these – I’ve pinned them!

  2. Thank you for sharing your beautiful ideas. I look forward for the next one. Blessings.

  3. Love them, thank you so much for, once again, sharing!

  4. Oh, these are super-cute and what an amazing idea to use them as gift-tags! I agree with Janette…these would look so wonderful tied to a gift wrapped with kraft paper…add a little of the red and white baker’s twine and maybe a candycane and you’ve got the cutest package under the tree! You are sooooooooo sweet and generous to share both the printable tags and the actual tags, too! Thank you so very much, Angie!

  5. Angie, you are so darn clever and inventive! I probably would have looked in the bag of tags and said, “Oh, just some old tags,” and left them where I found them. Your mind must be creating 24/7. Do you ever sleep!
Anyway, I love the tags and how you’ve repurposed them as gift tags. Keep on doing what you’re doing; we all love it!

  6. How can I thank you for the cute feed/shipping tag? Yes, I recognized the checkerboard instantly as “Purina” since we’ve bought so much of their horse feed over the years! And, I agree that they’d be so great as tags for ANY time of year, esp.Christmas!! It’s a sweet idea to give away one with an Etsy order!!!! Thanks!

  7. Angie, thank you so much for sharing these lovely tags! I have a “thing” for tags, and these vintage styled tags are fabulous. I want to go shopping with you sometime! You have a good eye! Hugs!

  8. Thanks so much! My dad is a Cornhusker and I can’t wait to find a way to use this tag to craft a gift for him.
