Just a quick note to thank you all for your sweet comments and encouragement the last week about my dad being in the hospital. I don’t always have time to respond back to every comment, but I do want you to know I read each and every one of them, and they mean so much to me!
My dad got out of the hospital today, and tomorrow I’ll pick up my niece at the train depot. On Saturday, they’ll hit the road for the drive back to New Mexico, taking their time along the way, so my dad can get out frequently and stretch his legs.
I’ll be glad to hear when they’ve safely arrived back home!
The house always seems empty after company leaves, but I haven’t had time to work on many projects lately, and I do look forward to getting back into my usual routine.

That’s a good plan, Angie, to have your niece drive your mom and dad home. It must have been a huge relief for you and your family to have your dad out of the hospital. Safe travels to them.

Awwww, I’m sooooooo glad to hear that things are starting to pick up for your family…all of you must be over-the-moon happy that your Dad is now out of the hospital and no one more ecstatic than him! Now we just have to get you on the road to recovery and I hope that will be sooner rather than later…I’ll continue to keep you in my thoughts and send all of the healing energies I can possibly muster your way!
