New Fall Farmhouse Decor + Dixie Belle Product Package Giveaway
After finishing the vintage truck with pumpkins in it, I was motivated to work on more new farmhouse decor.
I was so happy with how the truck turned out that I made a red version that can be used for Christmas or Valentines Day.

Then I moved on to a few Fall signs.
I mentioned that I didn’t cut apart all the pieces of a transfer. and here’s why.
You can make an easy sign by keeping a section of a larger transfer together as one piece.
For this sign, I just painted a pine board black, adhered a section of this transfer in place, and used white chalk paste so it would be like a chalkboard.
Since I was covering a large area, I moistened a paper towel and placed it over the top. But if you look closely at “rides,” you’ll notice the bottom of the letters look a bit discolored. My towel was a little too wet.
It still looks nice, but just not perfect.
I used a damp cotton swab to remove the paste that got in the cut lines.
I also made a sign in color on a stained board using yellow, black, red, and white chalk paste.
I used several different squeegees so I wouldn’t have to stop and clean them off when changing colors.
You’ll notice the jar of white paste is larger than the other jars. That’s because we now offer the white, black, and storm (gray) in “super stash” sizes.
So happy with how it turned out!
