but last week, it was a goldmine of things I liked, a won quite a few of them.
So, if you’ve ever gone to an auction and either didn’t see much you liked or didn’t win anything,
I encourage you to give it another chance. Believe me, you WILL score some great bargains
if you consistently visit them.
Last week, the pickins’ were good at the auction and some sales at the fall festival we went to, so I thought I’d show you what’s new in my shop.
It’s available
SOLD

An adorable little child’s chair. I thought about painting it,
but it’s cute like it is, so I’m leaving it for now. It’s available HERE.
I got 5 old, metal flower frogs. I love to display photos in these.
I kept one of them and the other 4 sold as soon as I listed them.
Several old toolboxes & totes made their way home with me –
I never can pass those up! They are available HERE, HERE and HERE.
A cute little wooden ironing board for sleeves makes a great little display shelf. It’s available HERE. SOLD
It also got a big ol’ antique table that was falling apart.
I have a “thing” for broken antique tables.
I’ve bought 4 of them at auctions. It’s always a pain in the rear
to get them home and my husband is never overjoyed when
I call him from the auction house to say I need him to come get them with his pickup truck.
But, I love repurposing parts of the tables and I usually sell the legs.
Here’s 2 of the 6 legs from my latest table. SOLD
I always snatch up old Samsonite suitcases when I find them!
This one is available HERE. SOLD
TV Trays with stands are always good sellers in my shop as well.
Available HERE. SOLD
I love wooden folding chairs and was tempted to paint
the 2 I picked up, but for now I have them in my shop with
their original finish. They are both listed HERE.
I brought a lot more home, but most are parts that for future projects, waiting for me to work on them.
Hope your week is full of good pickins’!

I love auctions. I have not been able to go to any this year because of work. Hit an estate sale Thursday, nothing but on the next street over…Jackpot at garagesales. Will post what I found this week!
Great stuff Angie. Some of it was sold before I read your post.
Thanks Angie for the advertising space! I’m so excited about it!
I love all the stuff you have here… that little shirt sleeve press…I’m cracking my forehead…I just saw one of those and Wow! it never occurred to me to make a shelf out of it!
Never occurred to me to buy it up and resell it either!
When Angie? When will I learn?
Thanks again. —
🙂 Pat

You have a very good eye for scoping out treasures! I love your signature clock peeking out from behind every item you photograph.

you totally scored!! love all your new stuff! i am hoping for some auctions in my neck of the woods….
Wow… auction bonanza! I agree… sometimes there’s nothing and other times you need a truck – or two. Wonderful finds and I love the peeking clock too! 🙂
I have never gone to an auction — I think I’d want to go with a ‘veteran’ before trying on my own. Love all of your finds — the folding chair reminds me of ones I grew up with. Love those old flower frogs — those are on my list of “wants” 🙂 I just came back from an unexpected, fruitful visit to a resale shop — loaded up and wished I had gotten more!
I don’t have a business yet and I don’t live in the US, so it couldn’t take the opportunity. Just wanted to say how generous it is of you!
