Time takes it toll on all of us, doesn’t it?
We get wrinkles, gray hair, and age spots.
Such is the case with this old pair of gosling statues.
They were left behind by the previous owners
of our home and have been sitting outside our
outbuilding (right next to my office door).
Both of their necks had broken,
and someone repaired them.
But the poor mother goose lost
her battle against time and really lost her head.
It must be buried somewhere in all that foilage.
I’ve been meaning to dispose of all of them
ever since we moved in, but I don’t have the heart to do it.
I mean, just look at those eyes.
I hope when I’m really old,
and more wrinkled,
and fully gray,
someone will treat me kindly as well.
Blessings,
Angie

Oh that tickled me. Your Mother Goose lost her battle. So sad..hee hee. Maybe you’ll find something to replace her at the flea market today. Have fun! Lisa~
Oh, they are sweet. Don’t get rid of them… or send them to me, I’ll pay shipping and give them a great home with all of my battered concrete animals!!
