There are some things that I’m firmly convinced some people should never do.
Those things are just wrong as wrong can be.
Those things are just wrong as wrong can be.
Men should not wear skinny jeans.
{I know some people would strongly disagree with this statement, but you couldn’t convince me otherwise – so don’t bother trying.}
I should not do blog design.
I’ve spent h.o.u.r.s. this weekend, including the 4-hour drive home from a basketball tournament, just trying to re-design my blog header. Either I’m a really big dunce or it is rocket science, because so far it’s been a failure and I’d like to say I’ve learned a thing or two from trying, but I think I’m just more confused than I started. I had all these great ideas in my head, but turning that into something usable just isn’t happening.
I’m not throwing in the towel yet
(actually, I probably would if I had a few hundred dollars to spend to to have someone else do it),
so I’m warning you…it’s probably gonna get a lot worse before it gets better around here.
Due to unethical websites stealing content, I can no longer provide a full RSS feed. I work too hard to produce original and inspiring content to have it stolen by others. Thank you for your understanding – I appreciate each one of you that take time out of your day to visit Knick of Time!!

I just shared this site with another blogger friend and maybe it will help you, too. It’s a wonderful step-by-step tutorial that is easy to follow. I’m not sure what you have in mind, but you may pick up a few helpful tips.

I’ve been having a difficult time logging on to your site. I keep getting a pop-up that says “Trying to recover web page” or something similar. Is anybody else having the same problem, or is it just my computer? It seems that the section with your followers photos is slowing things down. But you know me and technology. I probably have pop-ups blocked or something simple like that. Good luck! I FEEL your frustration!
Oops! Here’s the proper address:

The previous address was me emailing it to myself. I know you’re not surprised. :@
I had a good laugh at the ‘men and skinny jeans’ comment…quite the chuckle.
I don’t know why but I feel the same way today when I see guys in skinny jeans…in fact, my oldest son wears them when he plays a gig (the drummer in a band)…I don’t like him in skinny jeans. But he’s grown at least he wears them high enough to cover his seat. {smile}
But then… I think of John, Paul, George and Ringo. Elvis. Sammy Davis,Jr. The Monkees. It wasn’t jeans–rather, some other material. But they all wore skinny pants! That didn’t bother me. I guess it’s my age that makes the difference. I think I’m getting old.
It’s my birthday month…and I’ll be 47. I also don’t think my son plays rock and roll either. I don’t know what you call it…but it ain’t rock and roll. {smile}
thanks for the chuckles…hope you get your blog problems fixed.

I love your current banner…just an FYI 🙂 I design my own banner but I do mine more like digital scrapbooking…more along my line. I don’t know if I could do something similar to yours though. With the help of some online blogger tutorials, I was able to figure it out and I’m glad I did! I was constantly pulling my hair out when trying to get someone else to “see” what I was wanting and I was just never happy with the outcome.
I’ve got faith in you…you can do it!! 🙂
