Hello Australia!

If you aren’t a blogger, then you may not be familiar with Google Analytics, but basically it’s a resource from Google that allows you to see the stats on your blog or website, and I’m a bit of an analytics nerd.

I like watching in real time, the stats for Knick of Time, which includes not only how many visitors are on my blog at any time, but also where they are from.  A dot shows up on a world map showing which country each visitor is from.  Of course because I’m American, the bulk of my visitors from America, but I many of you are from other countries as well.  One of the countries that frequently shows up on my analytics map is Australia.

A few days ago, I was looking through my stock of maps and I discovered an Australia map from the early 1900’s that I’ve never shared, so I decided to share it today as a free printable – my little gift to all my Aussie visitors (or those who just love the “Land Down Under”),

    Hi Angie,

Thanks for the map! I tried to Pin it but I can’t find the Pin icon. We’re keen on maps in our family. Our Great x 5 Grandfather was a cartographer to the King of England in the 1770s, so antique maps are really ‘us’! Mount Arrowsmith, in Van Couver, is named after him.

I am one of the dots on your world map, and you’ll see my dot on the East coast of NSW, Australia, near a city called Wollongong. I really look forward to reading your posts and seeing what you’re getting up to. It’s very inspiring! Thank you so much for all the effort you put into your blog. It is really appreciated.

    Cheers, Liz (Woonona Beach, NSW).

  7. Beautiful map Angie … Thanks. Must be fun to see where people are from that visit your blog.

Thanks Angie – I think this one might end up mounted on barn wood in our study.
I am in Adelaide, South Australia but I think Google analytics puts me down as Melbourne Victoria (may have changed but it was doing that in the past for some reason).
Thanks for sharing an Aussie specific printable!

  9. It’s a really pretty map…love the colour! 🙂

  10. WOW!!! Thankyou from an Aussie that loves all that you do!!! 🙂

  11. Thank-you from sunny Brisbane!
