I snatch up old, weathered tool boxes and tool caddies
whenever I find them.
Here are a few that are currently listed in my Etsy shop.
I really love this one. It’s a carpenter’s trunk/tool box.
It has 2 terrific drawers inside, as well as
attachments to hold tools like the saw that is included.

Do you have a tool box that you use for something
other than tools? If so, what?

I love old toolboxes. I’m still upset about a HUGE blue wooden one that I passed up at a garage sale this summer. It’s on my wish list for garage sale-ing this summer for sure. Nice group of inspiration pics! 🙂
I too love the old toolboxes. They are hard to find and the ones I do see at antique shops are expensive, but no worries, always on the look-out at the thrift shops. Diane
Love your post! I love old tool boxes too. 🙂
Yes – actually I do. I’ll have to link it up to your party some time.
I was at my Habitat for Humanity ReStore and spotted an awesome old tool box. When I went running for it I saw there was a big sign on it saying NOT FOR SALE, they were using it…..FOR TOOLS! ugh, it would have been so much better with little plants in it on my kitchen table! 😉
Yes, I have a 75 year old handmade tool box….probably made to hold nails and screws….and I LOVE it. Found at a garage sale. I have posted about it…I am eyeing my hubby’s metal box now!
Oh theres just something about these boxes. They just accumulate character of the years. I have convacated a few from our garage.
I love the way yours are used.
