Some days I can sit through an entire auction
and come home with hardly anything,
and then there are other days
when I’m there for 30 minutes and fill my vehicle.
Last night was a fill my vehicle night…in 30 minutes.
Check out this stool!
It looks like it came straight out of an old warehouse.
At one time, the seat and back must have been padded,
but now it’s down to the bare bones
and I love it because of that.
It’s got tons of patina and is industrially chic!
But my favorite part?
I discovered that the back rest could be used
as a funky chalkboard!
I’ve got it listed in my Etsy shop, but
I won’t be heartbroken if it doesn’t sell.
We plan to remodel our laundry room and
I want an industrial look, so it will fit right in
and make a great stand for holding a laundry basket.
I also got this hand-carved, knotty old wooden cane.
I can just picture some old man
sitting on a front porch carving away at it.
I got lots of these old berry baskets, as well
as the wooden carrier they came in.
And this chippy little blue side table is adorable.
Tools…I got lots of tools.
I love that there are so many creative ways to
reuse them and make them indoor decor.
Like this old pitchfork.
And this retractable rake.
Cool old garden tool.
I think I’ll remove the top from the handle
because it would make a terrific wall hook.
I love this old pipe cutter and hope to talk my husband
into turning it into a towel bar for our laundry/bathroom.
I love the typography on the center.
Got a pair of these sweet little saw horses.
I also got a cool canvas camping cot.
{say that 5 times fast},
and a few other things,
but I dropped my camera
and the lens isn’t working right now
(PANIC),
but I’m sure this
was enough to show you that
yesterday was
GOOD PICKINS’!
Blessings,
I can frequently be found visiting these parties.
