Explore! Map Pages Banner

I’ve been working on more banners this week
and loved these map pages that were at the back of old dictionary.
Instead of spraypaint, this time I used a stencil sponge to dab the paint on.
No chance of overspray onto the pages this way.
Sometimes the paint went under the edge of the stencil a little,
but I’m not going for a perfect look – or I’d just use a printer.
It took a little longer, but I’m pleased with the results and it’s less expensive than spray paint.
The rick rack was super old, but never taken out of the package.
It was marked 8 cents from Penney’s!
I added reinforcement labels to the back so the pages don’t tear.
Here’s the 2 complete world pages used for the “l” and “o”.
