Repurposed Bread & Cake Pans

I’m always on the lookout for old metal baking tins and have found quite a few of them recently, so I created a few projects with them.  I added 2 loaf pans and a coat hook to this antique lawn mower handle.

I love these old handles.  I’ve found several of them, and they usually have some kind of brand typography on them and the wood has been really pretty on all of them.

The loaf pans had the perfect amount of patina.  I think this would look cute with a small wreath hanging on the coat hook, and the pans are great for creating little vignettes.  It would work well in an office, to hold envelopes, pens, etc., but I think it would also work well in a kitchen to hold spices, napkins or paper plates.

I got lucky and found a set of 3 cake pans meant to be used for a tiered cake, so they were perfect to create a tiered stand with.

My husband assembled this one for me with a lone table leg I had in my workshop.  It sold quickly in my shop.

I like putting little collections, like thread and yarn in tiered stands, but this would be useful in the kitchen as well, for holding K-cups, spices, etc.

I still had quite a few more pie tins, as well as some enamelware pieces I’ve found recently, so I put one of the graniteware pie tins on a little wooden stand.

I love enamelware and graniteware – especially when it has chips and dings!

I painted and distressed the wooden base.  Love this color gray!

Three pie tins and the leg from an antique chair were used on this stand.

The lowest tin has holes in it, I’m assuming to help provide even baking to the crust.  The top tin is single serving sized.

These have all sold, but I still have more pans, so expect to see more tiered stands soon!

Blessings,

Angie
