The make great home decor individually, but grouped together, they really pack a visual punch.
It made me think back to all the instant collections I’ve sold in my shop over the last few years. I didn’t blog about most of these collections, so for Thursday’s Theme, I thought I’d share some of them with you. These grouped collections are always a good seller in my shop.
I loved this collection of old milk glass cosmetic jars.
I loved this set too!
This set of amber glass apothecary bottles sold right after I listed them.
These milk bottles were part of another big lot I was able to score at an auction.
I’m still kicking myself that I didn’t keep a few of these red and white enamelware pieces. I bought a huge collection of enamelware at a flea market and this set was just part of it.
These antique doorknobs were another flea market find.
Love these old Pepsi bottles – they sold to the Snapple Theater Group in New York City. I still wonder if they were used in a play.
It isn’t very often that I find a group of matching suitcases, and these sold very fast.

A rusty collection of old kitchen graters has real charm.
They make beautiful candlelit displays too.
What grouped collections do you display in your home?

Oh! Collections….I enjoy watching them, whatever they are of. I collect vintage children’s china, storybooks, egg-cups, glass salt shakers…
Beautiful post!

I had never thought of placing a candle inside a grater, what a wonderful idea!
I love all of the pictures.. >Great staging photos.. YOU go GIRL
I your love collections.
What collections do I have…let me count the many!! I love the graters used for candlelight. and I would have bought those apothecary bottles…for my apothecary theme bathroom!
I have never seen enamelware spoons like that — LOVE those! I think you’ve captured the most important part of collecting . . . grouping! The way you have them photographed really makes each collection stand out. LOVE the milk bottles too! Those were the days – LOL.
Great pics and great advice! Collections should be grouped in order to create better harmony of design.using objects to vary height as you have done is also important!
Angie, I would never have thought of collecting those little white apothocary jars or grouping some of the other items. You are an inspiration!!! I must have flat sided suit cases when I get back there to decorate with. Love everything. Blessings
Great collections and pictures. No wonder you sell them very quickly. The old door knobs are my favorite. Thanks for sharing.

Love the turquoise insulators; I have a few but not that many! I also love the candles in the old rusty graters; what a great look! Thanks for sharing your collections – I have recently done the same thing – gather them together for more impact.
I love the idea of a candle inside a grater and all the pictures are beautiful and inspiring.

Wow, Angie, no wonder some of those sold so fast. Amazing how a grouping can enhance the effect. I love those enamelware spoons. I’ve never seen them before. Gorgeous!
