Forgive me Lord, when I get caught up in my day, and make other things more important than sitting down and spending that time “writing letters home” to you. Now, I understand.

Truths. Thank for the reminder. I need to write home tonight. I have things to tell Him.
Oh Angie, This is so beautiful and so absolutely true. I will remember this always. Thank you.
Angie,
Do you sell the Irish Eyes Song in your graphics? I did not see that one. I would love to get a copy of that or do you sell the original? Thanks. Your post today was beautiful.
Kris
So beautiful Angie … sometimes it takes just some simple thing to remind us what we are not doing or should be doing.
Thanks,

Beautifully spoken, Angie. Thanks for the reminder.

Angie,
No truer words were spoken! After, I left home and was married, I always wrote home to my MOM, call her every Sunday, even if we spoke for a few moments or were mad at each other for some reason. I miss my mom. But, now days, children don’t believe the same way. My oldest daughter has told me that, that were the old days, kids don’t do that anymore. If any children out there read this, call your parents or write them on a regular bases. They gave up a good part of their life for you.
So true. Our world is so busy…I miss letters. Imagine how The Lord feels when we reduce our time with him to a quick verse read on our phone, iPOD, iPAD, etc while we “have a minute ” at the doctors office, before the client gets there, until the bus arrives…etc I try hard to not add my time with Him to another “check off” list. The only time my oldest communicated to me in a letter was also when he was in boot and couldn’t have his phone. Then, he was so happy to get letters and write letters. It ended as soon as he got his phone back, and that was sad. Your analogy is perfect.
