I’ve enjoyed having my sister here for the last week and a half, she’ll be returning home in a few days. She’s been a huge help to me typing the post, helping with house cleaning, and cooking meals for the freezer so it’s easier for us to just grab a meal already prepared. Another update about my health. Every week, I have occupational, physical, and speech therapy three times a week. I’m walking fine – no wheelchair or walker. I just have a little foot drag. My speech is improving every day, but remains a challenge. But the biggest problem is fine motor skills in my right hand. I’m enjoying the last few days visiting my mom and my sister and her family in New Mexico. I was able to watch my niece and nephew play (and win!) a soccer game, attend church with them all, and today we went to Old Town in Albuquerque, which was a favorite spot of mine when we lived in NM. I forgot my camera’s battery (head smack!), so I had to used my mom’s tablet to take photos.
