I hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day yesterday.  My daughter came over and we grilled outside, but the bugs were ferocious so we ate indoors.  She stayed to watch a movie with me and we laughed so much. Happy May Day friends!   It’s a beautiful day in my neighborhood and I hope it is in yours too. I’ve been a busy bee the last several days.  I made a yummy dessert before my husband was sent out of town for work again yesterday – this time for the whole week.  He helped me pick out new glasses before he left.  I’ve been needing a new pair ever since the almost tragic kayaking incident, so I’m happy to stop wearing my old backup pair of glasses.
