I used a foam roller from Cutting Edge to apply the paint.
Once I had the whole thing painted,
I used a blow dryer for just a few minutes
to dry it before removing the stencil.
I hesitantly lifted the stencil, hoping for a good outcome
and was so thrilled to see the results!
Gorgeous!!!!

I am thinking about painting the old vinyl composite tile in my dining room until we are ready to do hardwoods on the first floor and think that the Hermitage Acanthus Coffer Stencil would look fabulous on a few tiles here and there…the thought of doing the entire floor is overwhelming but a handful would be stunning. I hope I win so I can try my hand at stenciling!! Otherwise it is going to be a boring tan color but better than what I am looking at now!

I am just itchin’ to try my hand at stenciling. Cutting Edge has so many great ones to choose from, but if I had to choose one, I have had my eye on the Georgian Ceiling Medallion stencil for a few months now. My dining room ceiling is just begging for some attention and this stencil in a soft gray color would perfectly compliment my dining room decor.
