On the Workbench – Tiered Stands and Wall Bins

A few months ago, I bought 6 of these little galvanized pots at a thrift store.  They were packaged with flower seeds and peat pellets, so you could grow flowers in them, but since the gardening season is past, they were discounted.  I added them to some scrap wood as small wall bins.

I was fortunate to get a pretty large stock of old enamelware bowls and some baking tins recently, so my husband and I have been busy putting together more tiered stands.  Here’s a few of them we’ve finished.

We finished 2 like this red and white stand, but my husband decided he wanted to keep one by the coffee maker to keep K-cups on the bottom and his keys, glasses, etc. in the top.  Several of these have already sold, but there are still a few available in my shop, with more coming soon.
What’s new on your workbench this week?
Blessings,

Angie

  1. I love these! Wonderful ideas! My “workbench” is more of a “worktable” full to things to be done. Life is a bit busy right now, but you are inspiring me to get at it.
    Blessings, Diane

  2. Love these… I think I need one on my kitchen island! Thanks for the inspiration. 🙂

  3. You would laugh if you saw the old door that is my workbench. I grabbed a little corner of the unfinished basement for my own. I am a very messy worker so I have to go down every weekend and clean it up so I can start the mess again… I could use a lot more organization! I love the wall in your background too 🙂

  4. Oh my word, I love these. I especially love the enamel wear. I need to find some. Fabulous idea. I would love for you to link up to my Inspire Me party that will be live Monday afternoon at 2:30. http://www.astrollthrulife.net Hope to see you there. Hugs, Marty

  5. These are great Angie. You are so creative. Love the white/red enamel. I am making one, yes, one and it is taking me forever. The aluminum pans are not pretty, so may try to paint them white with red edge to mimic enamel. Do you use a special drill for the enamel?
Thanks for sharing … and inspiring us.

  6. I am in LOVE with the enamelware stand, Angie! Truth is, I always love your stands, but I do believe these are my favorites! You are always so inspiring 🙂
