I printed the images (in reverse) on transfer paper, and ironed them onto flour sack towel fabric. You could use any transfer paper, intended for light-colored fabric, but I used TAP (transfer artist paper).
After cutting the images on the fabric out, I just hot glued them to some twine, and it was done! It was quick, easy, looks springish, AND has a vintage look. The perfect project to perk me up! I think I’ll hang this banner above my kitchen window, but I think it would be perfect for a patio or garden party as well.
Here are the reversed images I printed. Six images fit on a page, so I printed 2 pages to get all 12 designs. Make sure to deselect “fit to page”, as that stretches the image out and the sides of the images may be cut off.
Have you used one of my images on a project you created? If so, please share! My new feature READER SUBMISSIONS will showcase you!
These are so wonderful, Angie…love the banner! I missed getting them first time around…thanks for sharing!
Things for sharing these….I needed a little “spring” in my life today!
Love this so much I’m pinning and can’t wait to make one!
So pretty and I love that they are on fabric instead of paper. Brilliant idea to get you by until Spring actually arrives.
Great little banner!

Angie, I love this banner. I love the look of vintage seed packets and they are definitely perfect to hurry along Spring.

So so so cute! Thanks for the great tutorial too!

I pinned your seed packets. I think they would make lovely napkins for a luncheon.

This garland is outrageously charming and clever! I love the project, and would love to have you add it to our Party Time link party. It would be absolutely perfect for a garden party! http://tikkido.com/blog/link-party-37
