Before I talk about the project I am sharing today, I need to make a huge apology. Almost a month ago, I hosted a giveaway for Cutting Edge Stencils, and I completely forgot to announce a winner. I’m so sorry! The giveaway was open for 1 week, and I had a lot on my mind while I was preparing for my parents visit, and it just totally slipped my mind. The winner is announced at the bottom of this post.
Okay – back to my project. Last month, I shared 2 beautiful antique alphabet printables, and I put together a super quick and easy project using both of them. One alphabet was a very ornate one (found here), and the other was a very bold one (found here).
I think the contrast of the two look great together, so I just picked up a few 50% frames at Hobby Lobby, printed the alphabets, and taped them onto natural cardstock paper and slipped them into the frames. Done – how easy was that?!
The nice thing, is you can easily flip the cardstock over, and tape 2 more images onto it, for reversible artwork display. My antique postcard printables (found here) would also look great on the natural cardstock.
as would the 1900’s girls’ hat fashions (found here)
The winner of the Cutting Edge Stencils giveaway is – Tawny Miller. Tawny, you have 24 hours to contact me at jasmasix@msn.com with your shipping address, and your stencil selection.
I want to thank you for the Cutting Edge Stencil give away! I feel so fortunate to have won such an awesome gift and I can’t wait to complete my project. Thanks so much Angie!
Oh yeah, I really love the 1900’s hat printables too! I sort of have an affinity to old hats so these images are right up my alley!
Thanks again!
Tawny
