Autumn’s chill is definitely in the air in Illinois. In my neck of the woods, it’s rainy and windy today, and rainy, windy days make me want hot cocoa! This I was looking through an antique recipe card book, and came across this recipe for breakfast cocoa – perfect timing. It’s from the early 1900’s, from the Walter Baker and Co. It’s from the same recipe book as the gorgeous Baker’s Cocoa woman image that I shared a few years ago.
You could print this as a recipe card, but I think it would look wonderful as wall art in the kitchen. You could also decoupage the image onto jars or cans, to give them a vintage look.
Thank you; I love the postcard with the beautiful bird & also the vintage recipe. Mariana
