D.D.’s Cottage and Design gave this secretary/desk a makeover with homemade chalk paint. I love this color with the contrasting white interior.
Itsy Bits and Pieces shared her cottage style guest room that she decorated with some gorgeous and very special treasures. I love this gallery wall she created with vintage dog pictures.
This wreath made from a drop cloth and embroidery hoop is so clever. Simply Country Life shares a great tutorial on how to make your own.
Lavender Dreams made this adorable bear out of a quilt that she’s had all her life. The quilt was tattered beyond repair and she finally got up the courage to bring it back to life.
Red Tin Inn created this wonderful hanging basket from an old galvanized feeder and chalkboard paint. It’s so versatile and it could be decorated for any season by simply changing out the Christmas decor and chalkboard greeting.

Hi Angie! One of my link-ups tonight isn’t really “vintage,” but I hope it will be ok to share anyway. I have written on my blog before about a topic dear to my heart and a fundraising effort I am in for St. Jude’s Children’s Cancer Research Hospital and my friend, Garrett. I received some sad news about the current state of Garrett’s cancer and wanted to post about it tonight, asking for prayer and also for the blog community to help me reach my fundraising goal for St. Jude. My other link-up is a good, ol’ fashioned vintage desk makeover . . . so I hope you don’t mind that I snuck in one other. I would so appreciate being able to spread the word. Thank you!!!!
Thanks for the party Angie!

Have a great week!
I love that Secretary makeover from D.D.’s Cottage. What a gorgeous piece. That bear is so sweet. I love coming to check out the projects over here, it makes me feel so warm and cozy! BTW, your site loaded really quickly for me. I hope things are smoothing out with you and WordPress Angie!
Thanks so much for letting me know, Karen!! I have SUPER slow internet, living out in the boonies, so I always wonder if my site is loading slowly for the rest of the world, or just people like me who live with snail mail speed interenet!
