Organization Labels to Control Clutter in the Heap of Change Challenge

How to clean up clutter and organize
Most people have a junk drawer, but I have multiple junk drawers, junk trays and junk bowls.  I can fill nearly an empty container with junk.  Case in point.  Here’s one of my trays full of junk.  I love using rusty little bits and pieces for projects, but finding what I need, when I need it is a challenge – especially because I have LOTS more stashes just like it.  So, when Donna @ Funky Junk asked if I wanted to co-host the Heap of Change Challenge, I decided now was as good a time as any to get my junk stash organized.  We want you to join in as well, to share your organized and decluttered spots, so get ready to link them up below!

I have lots of glass jars, so I decided to use those for my smaller items, but I also have plans to organize my larger items as well.

I didn’t just want a bunch of junk in jars though, I wanted a bunch of junk in CUTE jars, so I created 4 sets of labels (40 total),  so I’d have the cutest organizational jars around…and I’m sharing my labels as printables with you!
I used my one of my Vintage Blue Label images (found HERE).

I used a vintage style font to add the words to them.  If you like this font, you can download it free HERE.
Organization Labels
I printed my labels on full-page adhesive labels.
Cut them out to stick on your jars, boxes or bins.  Each of these sets are ready to print on regular letter-size labels, just click on each image to save and print at their full size.

  1. Oh my gosh… you are right. These are ADORABLE! Hard to believe rust can be improved but you’ve done just that. 🙂

Love your project! But will next week’s junk be as pretty as this week’s? 😀

  2. I’ve been meaning to get around to labelling the containers in my pantry for ages. would make it much easier when guest visit. These are fab!

  3. These are so beautiful, Angie…makes me want to organize, just so I can use them! I’d love to make pantry jar labels with these…thanks for sharing!

  4. I’m looking at my junk, but it’s heaps don’t seem to be changing!

  5. So cute, I love these labels!

  6. Good idea for sorting. I am sorting my way through the beginning of my Challenge Week 2 and it is tedious and so slow and SO many boxes to get through – and its all about pens, pencils, office supplies and small junk. Thanks for the labels. I suspect I will be printing quite a few. Jars out, boxes of junk ready, sorting started.

  7. Just found out about this challenge and I’m in! Love the labels and I’ll be printing them for sure.
    hugs,
    Linda

  8. Wow gorgeous storage solution and you gave us something too!!!! I love the blue and white labels, looks fabulous!

  9. Love the labels Angie. If I would organize all my junk drawers, I could use a lot of them. Thanks for sharing.

  10. My labels are not of the cute variety. It’s either Sharpie on plastic containers or P-touch labels on plastic containers. My clear jars are pretty self-explanatory, but yours shows COHESIVENESS! Your junk has been elevated to a higher plane. I don’t think I’ll go that far, because just cleaning out and organizing takes more energy than I have at times! Best wishes for more organizing ideas!

  11. What is there about junk that is so attractive? I feel like a junk magnet here. Your labels (like all your graphics) are gorgeous! I’m beginning to feel motivated to categorize my junk…and maybe even let go of some of it in the process.
