Cow Vintage Tin Can Label

There is only 1 antique store in the small town that I visited over the weekend, but I did bring home a few finds from it, including this vintage can label.  Isn’t it wonderful?!  I seriously do not understand why companies today don’t make their packaging look this nice.   They clearly don’t understand that people like me would buy their product JUST to get the label!

I especially love the dairy cow side of the label, so I’m working on a project right now with it, which I’ll show you soon (HERE).

  3. What a great label!!! I totally agree, I would probably buy the product (like it or not) just to get the label. You just don’t see this type of quality anymore. This was a great find.

  4. I love these! I agree that they should bring back some of these beautiful old labels; I’d be buying the products just to peel the labels off.

  5. Thanks for sharing these, Angie, they are lovely. I especially like the “cow” one, my last name is Rose and the brand is “ROSECO” so I’ll have to use it somewhere!

  6. Thank you!!

  9. Really wonderful images…such pretty colours! I am with you on not understanding why companies don’t put more effort into making their packaging look nice…I think that, when companies make that kind of effort, it makes their customers feel special. Plus, it would be an earth smart choice because more stuff would get reused that way…so, a win-win all around! Now, we just have to convince all of these companies to listen to us. Can’t wait to see the project you have in mind for the graphic with the cow image in it!

  10. Great images from the past! Especially the cow. I have to get my printer fixed, right away! Can’t wait to see what you have created with them.

  11. I just became a subscriber, but don’t have the passcode for the members-only images you mentioned … would you please send it to me? thanks a lot!
