For farmhouse Friday this week, I thought we’d look at one of the most used spaces in any home – the laundry room.
My farmhouse laundry room is one of my favorite rooms in my house, and I’d happily pull my bed in here, if my husband would let me!
It’s a small room, but it’s very functional, and it’s filled with lots of vintage pieces that make me happy, like an antique clothes wringer, with my daughter’s baby dress hanging on it, and a plumbing pipe bar to hang clothes on.
I shared a several free printables of this antique clothing advertisements HERE, that are perfect for laundry room art.
I turned a rolling cart into a Laundry Cart for my teenage son. It holds a lot more than a regular laundry basket, and he has no excuse no that he can’t find a basket! 🙂
This is one of the most stunning farmhouse laundry rooms I’ve seen – from the barn door, to the ticking “curtain” under the washer and dryer. There’s so much more to this space that isn’t in this photo, so it’s a must visit! ~via Jenna Sue Design Co.

When we moved into our house, it the laundry room was one of the easier rooms to work on, and after spending months and months on our kitchen remodel – we wanted an easy room!
People do so many cute things with laundry rooms and i really like yours, thanks Angie, have a great weekend.
Thanks Marlene! Hope you have a great weekend too.
Angie love love your laundry space and all the inspiration. Hey if you are going to have to do laundry it might as well be in a pretty place RIGHT?!!!! Have a great week end.
Kris
Thanks so much, Kris!
Your laundry room is SUCH an inspiration, and I love the other ideas you’ve collected! I especially love all of the vintage touches that makes these rooms so charming. The laundry room in our old farmhouse was added on just a few decades ago, and I’m excited about adding some vintage charm and character to it!
Meg, I’m SO glad you left a comment. I just spend 20 minutes reading your blog, and pinned at least 20 photos! I’m looking forward to watching you transform your beautiful old farmhouse. Our old house in Missouri looked very similar to the front of your house. We had 2 doors on our porch, and the same upper dormer windows!
Love it all! Want it all!

Cecile, the rolling cart can be purchased here – http://bit.ly/UtilityCart
