I think I’ve mentioned in the past that my middle son is a graphic design major in college and for one of his recent assignments he designed a Bible verse typography poster, with the text from James 4:8.
He knows how much I love typography, so he sent the image to me in two different color options.
One has a black background with white and orange text, and the other has a white background with black and blue text.
He gave me permission to share both versions as printables.
I printed and framed the black version, but they could be printed as greeting cards or posters also.

By the way, I wanted to thank all of you for your prayers and well wishes for my mom.
After lots of delays along the way, my train finally arrived almost four hours late in New Mexico, but we’re here now, and I’m enjoying being with my mom, sister and my sister’s family.
Vaya con Dios,
This sign is beautifully designed by your son, Angie. It’s very kind of you both to share it. I’m sorry it took so very long for you to reach your mom. Take care, Ardith
This is lovely, Angie! Thank you to you and your son!
Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful verse with us. Thank your son please, for creating a masterpiece, and hope for you and all of us. God bless
Thanks Pamela – I will pass your sweet compliment along to him!
My thanks to you and your son for sharing the sign/card with me. I will use it to encourage.
Thanks Joni – I’m so glad to hear you’ll use it to bless someone else!
Thank you for the lovely downloads! Best wishes to you and your family.

Come over and Let’s Party!
Sherry, yes you are welcome to feature it – thanks so much, and thanks for the invite to your fall party!
Angie, your son did such a nice design with that scripture. I can tell that he’s a talented guy! I also love the wheat stalks in the blue canning jar in your vignette. It must be that they still grow wheat in your area. Here in mid-Michigan it seems like it’s only corn and beans lately. I notice it when I drive through the farming land on the way to visit my oldest daughter. Quite different than when I was growing up on my parents’ farm in that same area.
Thanks for the post and for the download.
I feel like I must have missed one or more of your recent posts as I know nothing about you traveling to New Mexico again. Has your mom been ill or somehting? I hope, if so, that she is doing okay now and that you have a nice visit.
So sorry it took you so long to reach your Mom and family on train. Now that you finally made it you can offer so much love and support so your Mom can concentrate on getting better.
Thanks to you and your very talented son for sharing this wonderful verse. To save on some ink I elected to save white version, might go back to save black version also, too nice not to.
Will keep praying for your Mom and you to hopefully help you get thru this crisis.
Thanks so much for your prayers, JaneEllen!
