Potpourri Friday – http://twenty-eight-0-five.blogspot.com/

This is a wonderful project! So glad to see this cute idea! And I just inherited a suitcase like that that belonged to my Dad.
I am so pleased that you linked to Potpourri Friday. Your participation certainly makes the party more successful . I appreciate you and hope you will make this one of your regular stops each week!
Love what you did I just fnd it hard to pull book pages apart especially ones that have lovely pictures.
BTW I got that old ugly table for $2 and took of all the top veneer which was badly damaged by rain and sun and which used to marquetry.
Daughter and I am sure hubby were not impresses but just they wait!! lol
Will do a post when done.
I love these old suitcases lined with old book pages. It really gives the cases a second life. Great tip about the Valspar antique glaze, too. Thanks for sharing.
love this suitcase!! trying to decide if i like this one better than the dictionary one…think i like them equally, because they are beautifully different! I think your idea of lace is perfect!!
I really loved the book page suitcase because of the page patina. This new one is so neat because of the subject mater. Nice job.
I love this. How fun. I like the ladies best! Thanks for coming by and sharing at Market Monday. Plse come again.
I jus love old suitcases. And what a clever idea.
Hugs,
Ellen
Oh I wonder did you copy the pages or used the originals? I have seen pages like these go for a good sum of money..I have an old suitcase sitting in the basement. Wonder what I can do with it?
