A Symphony of 1800’s Sheet Music

I scored a large box of sheet music dating
from the 1800’s tonight at the auction house —
an absolute symphony of it!

I hated to practice the piano as a child,
and regret that, but I absolutely
love the look of musical notes on sheet music –
especially really aged sheet music.

So, today’s antique graphics come
from the cover pages of some of them.
These covers have the most
gorgeous graphics and typography.

I hope you enjoy them,
and can use them in your crafts or projects.

Isn’t this cover beautiful?!

Here it is again with a lighter background
Another gorgeous one

The lettering is so fancy

Check out my letter!

I’ll be listing stacks of these
pages on my Etsy shop
tomorrow, so
come back then if you’d like
some for vintage projects.
Blessings,

I can frequently be found
visiting these parties.

  3. Okay, that’s it. Can’t get these out of my mind! I’d like to order enough to make three double wreaths. Would they work for this or are they too fragile?

  4. Looks like it is a great find! Laura – Cottage and Broome

  5. I have about 10 sets of sheet music from World War I that we found in my grandad’s barn. They all relate to the military and are patriotic tunes. I framed them, and they hang on the wall that goes up our stairway. My grandfather, father, and son have all been in wars, and so the framed music is very fitting.
