online shop and I’m sorry to admit
that most of my packages look like they are having
a bad hair day.
Everything is wrapped well, to arrive safely,
but there certainly is nothing inspiring or memorable
about my packages. They arrive safely
and that’s about all that can be said.
While I want to spend as little time as possible
preparing goods for shipment,
I do want to improve their look.
I envisioned a
“brown paper packages, tied up in string” look,
{makes you want to sing now, doesn’t it?}
and I want that image to convey
affordable, vintage goods.
With that in mind, I turned to a fellow Etsy shop,
The Stampin’ Place
to help me create stamped images I could use
on my packages, and promotional materials.
To say I’m thrilled with the result would be an understatement!
Just look at my stamp! I LOVE it!
This stamp was custom made with my artwork.
Since I’ll use this on promotional materials,
with various colors of ink, I chose to have
this mounted on a wood base.
Here’s the stamp I selected from their line of custom stamps.
All I had to do is provide my name and address and they did the rest.
Since I’ll use this one on a daily basis,
Sally recommended a self-inking stamp and I love it!
I’m having a little too much fun with it and
want to stamp anything that can’t run away from me.
If you want to have an address stamp made for your
personal or business use,
I hope you’ll give this fantastic shop your business.
It is a small, family business that has been
making custom rubber art stamps since 1981.
Sally was only 6 years old when her dad started this business.
Everything from gorgeous address label stamps…
and rubber art stamps for crafting and scrapbooking…
Look at these beautiful vintage designs that
come on unmounted plates!
Aren’t they perfect?!!
Check it out! They can even create an image of
YOUR vehicle and turn it into a stamp!
And they also carry all the accessories and supplies you’ll need.
Sally has generously offered
a 10% discount off
any stamp at The Stampin’ Place
or Custom Stamp Place.
Just use code “KNICK12“.
If you’d like a custom stamp,
with your own artwork like I created,
fill out their custom quote form and they’ll give you a
price quote for your design – their prices are SO reasonable too!
{Sorry, custom logo stamps are not eligible for the discount.}
I’m very happy to give
The Stampin’ Place
MY stamp of Approval!
The Stampin’ Place did send me my custom stamps
without charge, but I was not paid to provide
my review/recommendation.
I’m just thrilled with their service and products
and want to highly recommend them to you!

That’s one of my favorite songs and one of my favorite wrapping papers. the possibilities are endless. I love using it with hand made tags and wide satin ribbon.
I love the attention to detail, and the personal touch in your packaging ideas. Thanks for sharing.
I wrapped all our gifts in brown paper and tied with a red string this year. It fits nicely with the galvanized bucket holding the tree and the old bucket holding the candy and muffin mixes for the grown kids….old fashioned Christmas is our theme this year…over at Mel’s Designs…’n Harmony…
I’ve just started on Etsy and have been wondering how to make my packaging look nice without devoting a lot of time, energy and money on it. This idea fits the bill! Once I come up with a logo, I’ll be placing an order!
Thanks for steering me toward a good vendor 🙂
Love you stamp, when I need one I will defintely use them, which will be sooner than later. You stamp really reflects you logo and site. Thanks for sharing over at Sunday’ Best and letting us know about this vendor.
